OMG
So I got the debrief yesterday on what happened on the day I was sick from work.
So for a while now, a certain unnamed company has been yelping on that we don't abide by the "Fair Trade Act". In layman's terms, they are currently accusing the company of advertising one thing and doing another.
So being a good business, in the first meeting we stuck our hand up and said yeah, maybe it was a bit like that. We just wanted it sorted. We changed how we run things and it's working well.
We expected that to be the end of it, we had given them everything they asked for and more, but no! Without warning the other day they raided us! I'm surprised they even knocked on the door, I suspect the only reason they did was so they could officially present the search warrant.
They went through EVERYTHING. They made clones of the computers, took papers, looked through the chocolate bars and behind the posters on the walls as if we would be hiding something there. They even tried to take my bosses phone! He put his foot down and said no, that because they'd taken everything else that was the only way HIS bosses could reach him. They did relent on that one suprisingly. But I mean honestly, checking the posters and chocolate bars? Can we say paranoid???

I'm listening to people whine. Damn whingers. Of course there is a bloody excess on your claim, did you think we do things for nothing? Sure you pay your premuims. Look at them compared to the cost of your claim. Do you think we do nothing with your money? There's risk for us to you know.
I really need a holiday. Just need to blob out, get away, relax, do SFA.
I haven't had a call in the last hour, I am so bored.
So this is the first time I've ever made a blog. This is allllll new territory for me, and I hope I will remember to regulary update it.
So what can I say?
Well I'm 20 years old, not single at the moment. I work for insurance and I'm actually really enjoying it.
Like the most popular misconception, I always thought insurance companies were the bad guys and didn't like helping people out. Boy was I wrong. I've discovered that we that work at insurance companies are people too! We have bad days and good days. Sure there are some assholes there, but hey, there are assholes everywhere. I've lost count how many times a day I have to deal with some grumpy shit on the phone screaming at me like its all my fault. Sure I'm the one that was driving your car and drove it into the other person. Puh-lease, give me a break already and shut the hell up. And believe it or not, we do want to help.
Well I'm sure in the future I'll have some amusing stories to tell you.
